Ways to deal with negativity

we are more exposed to negativity in 24hours than we were in the last 20 to 30 years ago,we get the news faster at our finger tips through so many different means and channels, think about how life was 2 to 3 decades ago,it took longer sometimes many months or even a few years for news to reach certain locations, but its different this days just by mere opening or sliding our phones and other information gadgets we get the news instantly.
if we hear the news that  someone died and someone has given birth we feel more sad at someone dying because we interact more with the negative and this triggers us to react sadly,we consume in more negativity on a daily basis and allow our minds to dwell more on it.

In the book FACTFULNESS by Hans Rosling (10 reasons we are wrong about the world and why things are better than we think) he highlighted a few questions to test the knowledge of the reader about the world,i will put down a few of them and their answers.
1.In all low income countries across the world today, how many girls finish primary school.
A.20 percent
B.40 percent
C.60 percent
the answer is c
2.In the last 20 years, the population of the world living in extreme poverty has
A.almost doubled
B.remained more or less the same
C.almost halved
I am sure a lot of you picked A almost doubled but the answer is C almost halved.
the world is filled with so much negatives but in actual sense things are not as bad as we think.

I would highlight a few strategies or techniques that can help us in reducing negativity

1.learn to feel and not think: feel your positives, feel your small wins, show gratitude often, stop thinking and overthinking and choose to feel, celebrate the small wins for as long as you can, process good-news through gratitude its helps to keep long lasting memories.

2.Be sure to read about good news and truly understand : it gives you more hope and faith, reading about the negative creates room for anxiety, panics and depression and this makes us feel like we cannot have an impact.
choose to have an impact, having daily positive affirmations can help solve this.
3.Be selective about the news you read or listen to: before you choose to process any news ask your this questions,
Is this news useful ?
Is it necessary ?
Is it helpful to you ?
Is it making any difference ?
Is it truly helping you to live better?
If your answers to all of this questions is No,then why give in to it for the sake of having a
conversation.
4.Do not be surprised by bad news : I am not saying we should become immune or less sensitive to bad news,we shouldn't allow it break us down mentally or emotionally.

5.Do not judge without reading or researching : most times we get worried over stories or news that is not true because we do not take time time to make our research about it,putting in effort to making research and find out facts will help in keeping our minds sane.

6.Do not make a conclusion without having a fact: its almost the same thing with the previous point, put in effort to make a research, from making researches we get correct facts.
when your emotions are based on facts the cant control you,but when they are based on fiction they control you.
E.O Wilson said "we are drowning in information while starving for wisdom.the world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critical about it,and make important choices wisely."

7.what you have on your news feed feeds you everyday : choose or carefully select what you want to be seeing on your news feed everyday, your daily news feed can include listening to a podcast in the morning,or a cool music, going for a long bridge walk ,reading the holy book, composing a poem etc their are a lot of positive fun things that you can do,watch or listen to.
negativity is contagious and it travels in a circle, you spot one negative thing now and the next minute you on a ride to another negative spot.

I am hopeful this would help in dealing with the negatives, lets learn to have the right energy everyday and always.
i would really appreciate it if you share you thoughts with me in the comment section below.
Stay blessed!!! Namaste.

5 Affordable Tips to Keep Your Skin Moisturized During Winter

Winter weather can be harsh on your skin. Cold temperatures and dry air often strip the skin of its natural moisture, leaving it dry, flaky, and itchy. When the skin loses too much moisture, it can develop white patches, cracks, and even painful injuries if left untreated. Dry skin can also be caused by using harsh soaps, taking hot showers too often, or certain medical conditions. The good news is that you don't need expensive skincare products to keep your skin healthy. With a few affordable items and simple daily habits, you can maintain soft, hydrated skin throughout the winter. 1. Use a Humidifier Indoor heating can make the air in your home very dry, which removes moisture from your skin. Using a humidifier helps add moisture back into the air, preventing your skin from becoming dry and irritated. If you don't own a humidifier, placing a bowl of water near a heat source can slightly increase humidity in the room. 2. Moisturize Immediately After Bathing Apply a moisturizer...
